Performance Review & Evaluation

The CPMS Performance Review and Evaluation process occurs at the end of the performance cycle and summarizes the employee’s progress toward accomplishing the expectations set at the beginning of the year. The process includes an employee self-review, a review meeting between the supervisor and employee and input from the employee’s indirect manager. With this input, the supervisor provides ratings and meaningful comments for each Performance Factor, Performance Goal, and Development Goal as well as for the employee’s Overall Performance. Given the upfront work to set clear expectations and provide ongoing feedback, there should be minimal surprises at this stage in the process.
