Employees with less than $250,000 Additional Life Insurance can take advantage of this special, one-time offer to elect Employee Only Additional Life without proof of medical health. (**Spouse coverage will still require proof of medical evidence)

Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program

We are very pleased to provide you with information about “The Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program”. The Board recently approved a resolution that provides direction about sharing this information with San Mateo employees to help find solutions for employees growing student loan debt.  

The PSLF program allows eligible individuals to receive forgiveness of the remaining balance of their Federal Direct Student Loans after they have made 120 qualifying monthly payments while working full time (at least 30 hours per week) for a qualifying employer.

With hundreds of fires throughout California, and so many close to you, your employees and their families, we wanted to let you now that we are ready to support those being affected.

We’re working directly with our network doctors, business partners, and relief agencies, including the American Red Cross, to assess the situation and fulfill the eye care needs of those directly affected.
