Ramla (Ramie) Javed has joined HR as the new Talent Acquisition Manager. Ramie previously worked at Best Buy, Microsoft, and most recently at Samsung Electronics in South Korea as a Senior Manager of Global Talent Acquisition and Talent Management. Ramie will focus on promoting and developing strategies to attract top talent to San Mateo County.  Most of her free time is spent with family, traveling, volunteering, and photography. Ramie is a fan of all Los Angeles sports teams.

Alysa Stanford joined HR as the Wellness Program Manager right at the new year.  Alysa will focus on enhancing our Wellness program by creating additional options to help employees find their own emotional and physical wellbeing journey; increase participation in the Wellness Leadership program and Wellness Committee; focus on preventative care; and incorporate wellness into our everyday lives.  Alysa’s knowledge, creativity and collaborative leadership style makes her a terrific addition of our team.

Rana Naser is the newest addition to the Classification and Compensation team. Rana will be working on classification studies, salary surveys and host of new projects and initiatives related to maintaining the County’s classification and compensation structure.

Prior to this work-out-of-class assignment, Rana was working as a Program Manager in Public Works – Facilities. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Science and Master’s Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and most recently became a Coach through the County’s Internal Coach Certification program.
