HR Team Spotlight: EEO/D&I
The Equal Employment Opportunity / Diversity & Inclusion (EEO/D&I) team fosters an inclusive and diverse workforce through D&I initiatives including the County’s first Transgender Policy, lactation support for nursing mothers, and facilitating Inclusion Labs to create a more welcoming workplaces for all employees. Additionally, they provide technical guidance and support to managers and employees on the EEO Policy, conduct preventative and educational trainings and they conduct investigations.
The team also supports the community through the work of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW), LGBTQ Commission, and the Domestic Violence Council. CSW is currently preparing to host the Women’s Leadership Conference and Women’s Hall of Fame on March 7.
