Talent & Acquisition Division:

The Recruitment Manager position is being filled on a rotational basis. Chet Overstreet has completed his six months rotation with all of our appreciation. Christina Chan is now working out of class as the Recruitment Manager. Christina has a master’s degree in Human Resource Management along with several other HR certifications. Christina has been a valued member of the HR team for over 5 years and we look forward to working with her in this new role.

Employee Benefits Division:
Kim Pearson has been promoted to Benefits Manager after serving as the Benefits Program Manager since 2016. Kim has a variety of experience in Benefits, Medicare, training, process improvements and communication. She will lead the Benefits Division and expand our voluntary benefits and financial programs in the upcoming year.

With Kim’s promotion, HR had the opportunity to welcome Ann Parada back to the Human Resources Department as the Benefits Program Manager. Ann previously worked in Benefits for 4 years and expanded her knowledge of Benefits and Recruitment at the City of San Jose. Ann will lead the Benefits Division in day-to-day supervision/ operations and kick off this year’s Open Enrollment on October 7th!
