The Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Initiative is an opportunity for the County to take a strategic approach toward advancing diversity and inclusion goals.  This process will include learning, identifying shared goals and priorities, gathering and assessing information and workforce data, identifying barriers and needs, reviewing hiring and recruitment practices, and making recommendations.  The D&I Taskforce will offer departments the opportunity to provide input and assist in making recommendations and action plans to identify and advance shared D&I goals. The first D&I Taskforce meeting will take place in August.
