The County Wellness Program has launched its last year of the 3-year pilot for a $250 Wellness Dividend. To be eligible for this $250 dividend, employees must be covered in one of the County’s health plans and complete both a wellness screening as well as an online health assessment by 6/30/2018. The $250 dividend will be paid in one lump sum on the November 9th paycheck to coincide with the holiday shopping season. There are three options to complete a screening: onsite screening events at various County sites, annual physical with a personal physician, and at our vendor’s (Baysport) facility. In 2017, we had 65% of our employees receive the dividend up from 51% in 2016. Our goal this year is maintain this level of involvement.
