Worksite Massage Therapy Program
Introducing Touch wellness onsite
chair massage services
What is an onsite chair massage?
It is a brief seated massage which:
- Is done while you sit in a specially-designed portable massage chair.
- Is designed to stimulate circulation and to promote relaxation.
- Does not use oils and takes place with you fully clothed.
- Covers the neck, shoulder, back, arms, hands and scalp.
What are the benefits of an onsite chair massage?
Massage moves oxygenated blood to your muscles and helps them to relax. As a result, not only do you feel better, but you become more conscious of how you feel. This mind-body connection creates the first step toward taking better care of yourself.
Services are currently scheduled at different County worksites.
See the monthly calendar and list of Dept. Massage Coordinators below! Several worksites continue to schedule appointments through the Dept. Massage Coordinator.
Online Schedulers for San Mateo Health System, San Mateo Medical Center, and Redwood City County Center employees!
Employees who work at County Center, Redwood City or South San Francisco will now schedule their appointments through the new online scheduler if they do not already have a Massage Coordinator for their department.
Note: If you are an employee who works in Redwood City for Child Support Services, Probation, Public Works, or Assessor, please refer to the Massage Coordinator list below to schedule your appointment!
