  • Kaiser High Deductible Health Plan. This plan is available to ACA eligible employees and their qualified dependents at the below biweekly cost:

  • Optum (formerly Wells Fargo) Health Savings AccountIf you elect to enroll in the Kaiser HDHP, you will automatically be enrolled in a Health Savings Account (HSA) through Optum. For 2017, the county will contribute 50% of your deductible to your HSA.
  • Default Enrollment: If you do not waive medical coverage during the open enrollment period, you will be AUTOMATICALLY enrolled in the Kaiser HDHP with employee only coverage.

Health Coverage Eligible? Yes, you are eligible for the ACA Kaiser HDHP plan, along with a Health Savings Account. You are placed on an ACA measurement period for 12 months. If you qualify, then you are eligible for ACA Kaiser HDHP and Health Savings Account. Yes, you are eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, FSA, and EAP benefits.
Deferred Compensation Eligible? Per IRS regulations, you are enrolled in the 457 OBRA at 7.5% employee contribution. You are also eligible to enroll in the Traditional 457 Deferred Compensation account. Per IRS regulations, you are enrolled in the 457 OBRA at 7.5% employee contribution. You are also eligible to enroll in the Traditional 457 Deferred Compensation account. The County contributes a percentage (2-4%) to your deferred compensation account. In addition, if you elect to contribute to the Traditional 457 Deferred Compensation account, the county will match up to 3% of bi‐weekly base pay.
