DEADLINE for REGISTRATION: Wed July 13, 2017

  • Registration fee is $28 per participant.

  • Teams with 15 or less players will pay a flat $420 fee. T-shirts only available for $8

  • Mandatory Team Captain's Meeting is Thursday, July 6 at 455 County Center, Rm. 405 at 5 p.m.

  • Fee covers entire cost of tournament, including T-shirts, trophies, supplies, umpires and facility rental.   Late registration Fee is the same, but will not include a T-shirt.  Check made payable to “County of San Mateo.”

  • Cash is not accepted. Only one check per team, please.

  • No County monies are used to pay for this event.

Wanna play but can’t find a team? Contact Rob Davenport @ Rdavenport@smcgov.org by July 6, 2017.  We will do our best to place you on a team.

Registration

  • To guarantee your team’s participation in this event, you must submit a minimum of these three items to Donna Sakayama by the registration deadline @ 5:00pm or bring your packet to the Team Captain’s meeting:
    • Team Summary sheet AND
    • Team Roster AND
    • Team fee
  • A completed packet with all forms is required.
  • We will accommodate all teams that submit their registration packets on or before the team captain’s meeting ~ no exceptions!

Tournament Rules

  • Tournament Rules, Format and Playoff Schedule will be discussed at the Team Meeting this year.
  • If you would like the group to review or change a certain rule OR want to have input into how to configure the tournament and play-offs, you must send an email to Rob Davenport indicating which rule you wish to discuss and/or your proposed tournament or play-off configuration. Subject Line in Email should say:  Tournament Rules input so that I can find your email easily.
  • We will only discuss those items that have been submitted ahead of the meeting.

T-Shirts

Red Morton Park

  • Red Morton Park is located in Redwood City.
  • We have reserved all the playing fields for this event.
  • There is limited parking in the park. View the parking map for directions (also attached at the bottom of this webpage)
  • There are limited amenities at the park.  Plan to bring chairs, tables and BBQs if you intend to picnic.

    • Our continued use of these fields is dependent upon observing posted park rules and keeping the fields and surrounding areas clean!!!   
    • The Parks Department reminds us that alcoholic beverages and smoking are prohibited in city parks. 
    • Please take a moment to clean up your area before leaving each day. Thank you.

 

Team Captains:
mandatory meeting  at Tournament Desk, regardless of your first game time! Team Captains – print 14 copies of your batting order and bring with you to the event
