With the combination of the higher dividend amount (going from $250 to $500) and a collaborative effort by HR, the County Wellness Committee and labor organizations in promoting the program, we were successful in achieving impressive participation results!

A total of 3,697 employees, or 66% of our workforce completed the screening this year. This was a 32% increase from the prior year’s participation count of 2807 (51% of workforce), and exceeded our 2017 participation goal of 3,380 by 9%.  Departments also achieved impressive participation results with 26 out of 34 Departments/Divisions improving their participation rates from the prior year.  Congratulations to all Departments for their tremendous efforts!
