Have you heard about the County's twenty-hour training Policy?

One of the opportunities provided to you as a San Mateo County employee is that you may enroll in training sessions provided by the County, both instructor-led (classroom) and online offerings. The sessions offered by Learning and Development encompass a variety of topics, including career/life planning, computer technology, customer service, diversity, administration, human resources management, professional development and leadership development.

The County has established an annual policy for every employee to receive twenty hours of training per fiscal year. For supervisors, there is an expectation that eight of these twenty hours will be focused specifically on topics related to the supervision and management of employees.

If you are interested in attending interactive sessions led by our experienced trainers, would like to participate in online training offerings, and would like to be exposed to the newest and most innovative concepts, then sign up for sessions today! Our classes are also open to employees of cities, nonprofit agencies and special districts located in San Mateo County.

Take advantage of this employee opportunity! Browse the courses available to you through the LMS My Career Development Site (Library employees - Log into LMS at sanmateocounty.csod.com).

In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, employees requiring accommodation for any classes/programs offered must notify Training and Development at least ten (10) working days prior to the start of a class.
